ISLAMIC. Circa AH 2nd-4th century / AD 8th-10th century. Seal (Lead, 16 mm, 4.17 g), rectangular seal with a string hole. Illegible Kufic inscription on both sides in the widely spaced angular script typical of the Umayyad and early ʿAbbasid period. The obverse seems to contain the name of an official and the reverse the date. Cf. Porter 13. Fine.
